"Merlin" is an extremely charismatic, completely in balance and 100% in the right horizontal format (10: 9) standing, harmoniously built, very strong-boned, strongly muscled, athletic, elegant male of excellent substance, with excellent juicy pigment. Excellent typeface head model in the correct ratio of muzzle and head length with partially pigmented lining and fully pigmented eye and nose seams. The medium-amber-colored eyes, dry, elegantly set, long neck, which merges into the very well defined withers, correct, complete, strong scissor bite. He has a somewhat tight and narrow chest depth with sufficient muscling of the fore-chest and shoulder. His back is straight and firm with an excellent croup position, upper and lower back. Underline and a slightly raised tail posture, excellent and strongly ribbed building, mediocre, round, evenly distributed, partly intertwining spots with some speckles of excellent size, excellent forehand and hindquarters angulation with a slightly steep forehead, strong, round, excellently knuckled cat paws . He has an extensive gait with a lot of thrust and a slightly weaker advance. Its most prominent visual advantages include its almost colored ears, which are medium-sized correctly attached and worn and adorned with a head and ears plate on the left. According to the VDH breed standard, this is basically a “breed defect”, but it flatters Merlin's darker stippling on the face and frames it harmoniously and closes the head as a “dark, elegant eye-catcher”. His dark eye-nose seam and the (later) dark hangings gave him his "panda face" even as a puppy.

Breeding use

"Merlin" has been used in breeding since July 2020. He is planned for the mating of my A-litter with my bitch "Christi ORMOND Xtended Version".

Upon request, the stud dog "Black Jack vom Behrenstolz" (called Merlin) can be transferred by me to your breeding bitch with early agreement and against reimbursement of costs, so that a successful mating can take place with you as the breeder and in the familiar surroundings of the breeding bitch.

"Merlin" is a very friendly, sporty, intelligent, funny, affectionate and cuddly male. He is very open and approachable towards people and fellow dogs. Some conspecifics he is a bit excited for a short time when they first get to know each other, which quickly subsides and he shows his excellent social behavior. He is very caring towards his fellow dogs and puppies and loves to spend time with them and to look after them.

He is a very intelligent, sporty, dynamic / active male, with a soft expression and at the same time very playful, extremely obedient and a loyal, attentive, docile companion. He learns very quickly and enjoys learning new things and taking part in everyday life.

"Merlin" accompanied and actively supported me in my training to become an animal physiotherapist, chiropractor and curative practitioner for dogs and horses. He took part in all the exercises with great pleasure both during the specialist internships and afterwards and was very docile and patient and a real role model for a fit, healthy and balanced dog. For me he is a real dream dog who will hopefully pass on his distinguishing characteristics to his offspring as well. "Merlin" has been living with my bitch "Mocca" (Christ's ORMOND Xtended Version) in my pack since June 2020 and has been very social and completely unproblematic from the start.
